Think about it:
✅ Your title will change.
✅ Your paycheck will fluctuate.
✅ The companies you work for won’t stay the same.
But that’s OK—because you, the core of what drives you, remains.
I’ve previously written and spoken about the seasonality of UX work—how tech companies' needs shift depending on whether they’re innovating or have already answered their big questions.
Similarly, UX career elasticity is worth exploring. It’s about shifting from rigid definitions of success to something more fluid, adaptable, and personal.
Instead of clinging to job titles or external validation, ask yourself:
💡 What energizes me?
💡 How do I make sense of where I am right now?
💡 What purpose am I contributing to—and for how long?
The outside (title, company, industry) can flex. What matters is what stays at your core.
If you’re feeling stuck, unsure, or questioning your next step—let’s chat.

ps. I have an amazing friend named Lucas who takes incredible pictures. It's always fun hanging out with him—we talk about life, relationships, books, and summer as we walk around. If you're in Barcelona and would like to get some pictures taken, feel free to DM me! I'd love to connect him with you.
