#55 Coming full circle: Returning to the U.S. as a speaker at UX Con ‘25
The first time I set foot in the U.S., I was 15. A teenager, full of curiosity, excitement, and zero idea how much that experience would shape me.
A few years later, I found myself at the University of Chicago—navigating classes, friendships, and the early sparks of what would become my career. The U.S. wasn’t just a place I lived. It was where I grew up. Where I learned to think critically, challenge ideas, and dream big.
Now, after more than a decade away, I’m coming back. But not as the teenager who arrived wide-eyed at O’Hare. Not as the college student figuring out her next steps.
I’m returning as a mother of two, a UX career coach, and a speaker—helping lift up the UX community.
This feels like a full-circle moment.
I’m beyond honored to be joining UX Con ‘25 as a speaker—sharing insights, career strategies, and everything I’ve learned from helping UX professionals navigate their next steps. If you’re attending (or thinking about it), I’d love to see you there!
